Used 1995 Saab 9000 4 Dr CS Turbo Hatchback for Sale near Cameron, NC

(6 reviews)With mind-blowing acceleration from the middle of the power-band (highway), this thing will take on cars with twice the cylinders. There are no rattles, no squeaks, and no weird vibrations. It also corners very flat from the factory, and the comfortable leather seats grip you in those corners. The gas mileage can give you up to 23 mpg!!! This car is fantastic, even without any upgrades...but is cheap to make fast if that's your thing!
Let me start by saying, I love driving this car. It has great pick up, handles really well and is just an overall fun car to drive. My problem is that I have spent $1000+ in one year fixing crazy stuff on this car. Most of the problems have been electrical-windows not working, locks, instrument panel lights, etc. The real let down is that the Saab dealer can't even fix these things! Right now the car will only start when jumped and once again, the dealer can't figure it out. As much as I love the positives about this car I will NEVER buy a Saab again.
Ah ye old saab what a car Hit 2 grand and it whistles, louder and louder, shift and it goes spsh ah what a sound. for an old car she run's like a field mouse. just too bad people tell me it looks like a tempo, damn fools....
I've had the car for about a month now, and it's been a very enjoyable ride so far. I like that it has kept up its durability over 17 years and didn't give the former owner (who was its only) any trouble. It does look like a throwback to the 80's, but just imagine how cool it would have been then! I really do like the way the car looks and drives. The turbo is awesome, but the transmission's overdrive is just stupid. It is a very sturdy car and parts aren't very expensive considering it is European. It is certainly still a head turner, but mostly a "Oh dear Christ, what is that" kind of head turn. I actually had someone say "What's a Saab? I've never heard of that." Kids these days... Either way, I'm a happy Saabanista. Griffin up! *Update: I lost Saabastien on 9/8/2012. It was something that no one could have really predicted. The turbo failed while at highway speed and it caused a head gasket to blow and the head to crack in two places. This is not a common issue, so no worries, but just stay on top of your maintenance. Regular oil changes and system checks are VITAL. Don't let this scare you away from one hell of a car. If you're interested, drive one. You'll be glad you did. You know, I miss him every day. But now my mechanic has him and is going to take excellent care of him!
Four doors plus hatchback means lower insurance cost, good on fuel, 16 gallons tank, 450 mile per full tank, 28mpg highway. Nice appearance if kept nice of course. Minor body damage, front fender. Really good car, very reliable.
