I drove this to work every day. It was awesome! This is the best handling car I've ever owned (better than my old '82 Corvette and '01 Mustang GT). The 968 replaced the 944 and is the last of the front engine Porsche sports cars-it was replaced by the Boxster. If you don't mind paying for the quality you get, then Porsche is the way to go. Plenty of trunk space, no back seat room at all, outstanding ride.

Big Red brake upgrade, Pagind pads, Dunlop SSR track tyres, KW Variant 3 coilovers, M030 ARBs, original CS bucket seats, Safety Devices 1/2 cage, Schroth 4-point harnesses, adjustable Racers Edge camber plates, front strut brace, Blue Flame custom SS exhaust and de-cat. Fully rebuilt engine in Jan '07 including lightened, balanced and fully blue printed short block, steel cylinder liners, balanced clutch and flywheel, new valve guides, machined valve seats, custom race spec gaskets, new variocam tensioners and custom engine map. Work carried out by race engine builders EMC, in Birmingham.

Overpriced for the miles. It’s a number 3 condition car priced at a number 1 condition car. Sure the routine maintenance has been done, but Porsche buyers expect that.

Both economical and powerful with a very solid feel - more refined feeling than the 944. Still feels modern coming up on 30 years later. Has an ergonomic feel to the cockpit with some of the most comfortable seats Porsche ever made. Even more fun to drive in convertible form!
