Used 1992 Honda Accord for Sale near Appleton, WI
In 1992, all versions of the Accord came with a driver's-side airbag as standard equipment. Honda also added antilock rear brakes to the EX trim and boosted its horsepower to 140.
Even though a bit old, the '92 Accord is not a super cheap car and will cost a few thousand dollars. That said, it's still a great buy. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gives the '92 Accord a 4-star rating (out of 5) for their frontal crash test. And to continue the ratings game, the 1992 Honda Accord received an almost perfect consumer satisfaction rating. Apparently people driving the '92 Accord really like their car.

(89 reviews)This has been fantastic car for me -- expecially since I got it with just under 100K on it for $5400 and have driven it for 10 years. Now nad just 161k on it and I'm planning to sell it for expected $2500. Car has adequate power (16 valve engine still is strong and even quick with 5 speed stick ), it runs great and gets good gas mileage. On a long trip, I once saw close to 500 miles on one tank of gas. After nearly 20 years, (with diligent upkeep) everything still works - and things that do need replacing after regular wear and tear are reasonable to fix. I put all-season performance tires on it and they made a huge difference -- it will really hang on through exit ramps and back roads. A little more body roll than a true sports car, but this is a 92 Accord after all! Fifteen spoke alloy wheels still look clean and distinguished - but admittedly are a pain to keep clean with all those cavities for dirt to build up. Overall I love this car! Highly recommended if you can find one that's been well maintained.
Best Car We Have Ever Owned. We have owned it for 14 years and it still runs nearly as perfect as when we bought it. We had the timing belt changed at around 90K as suggested by Honda and regular oil changes etc. Car now has around 156K and is holding up very well.
well it is what it is..... its a family car with a little bit of a sport feel. you can do alot with them but at the end of the day its still a family sedan. as far as the quality factor goes it will last forever with generalized upkeep and as long as you catch the problems before they become major it will do what you want and not give you too much fuss. interior wise they leave alot to be desired, but for a early 90's car you cant do too much better and aftermarket gauges are easy to install so you can get a better feel of what exactly your engine is doing. its a fairly cheap car to drive if it has been maintained just dont expect it to handle like a porsche or accelerate like a old amx. is it fun to drive? yeah that it is, the car itself is very forgiving and wont let you down, its not the fastest thing arround but its got some decent speed if you have the money to put into it and you can get decent handling out of it but it all comes down to what you want vs what you are willing to spend. mine isnt a project car, its a daily driver but that doesnt mean that i havent put decent work into making it faster, but will i put thousands into it like i have some of my other projects? no. at the end of the day make your fast car faster and your comfy car more comfortable. because it will let you appreciate both more.
its actually a EX-R, not a LX. drives okay, a little rough. Decent proformance, looks great. needs valve seals to stop burning oil. other than that it drives great. planning on putting a H22 in it for better performance as well as a 5 speed jdm transmission.
I love the look of this car. Even though it's old school, it still looks great. The car's engine is solid. The ex model comes with 140hp, and because it's a Honda, adding hp isn't difficult. I also get great gas mileage. The interior is spacious and well laid out.
