Overview

Cadillac did an extreme makeover on the Seville for 1992. The main change came from stretching out the body by almost 16 inches and giving the exterior a sleeker, leaner look. In fact, some reviewers even went so far as to imply that the Seville had gone European on us. This aesthetic evolution mirrored the focus on presentation that had elevated competitors such as Lexus and Infiniti. The 1992 Seville comes in 2 trims: the STD and the more stylish STS. Fuel consumption runs from 16 mpg in the city to 25 mpg on the highway. This midsize sedan has 4 doors and seats 5. Standard features for both trims include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and ABS brakes. Sunroof comes optional on the STD and STS while leather seats come optional on the STD, standard on the STS. Trunk space receives a slight increase to 14.4 cubic feet. Overall, the 1992 Seville continues the strong tradition for luxury and performance established by Cadillac. Drivers start having maintenance issues around 100,000 miles. In addition, some reviewers would appreciate better interior styling and better gas consumption. Despite the minor qualms, most people agree that the 1992 Cadillac Seville comes as good as advertised.

LOVE the smooth ride-even for a 92 it still rides like a dream. LOVE the sound system-BOSE baby! It's a Caddy, but I don't feel like an acorn in a bucket...not a house on wheels-perfect size. Love the luxury of leather seating, motorized seating controls, love the car even though it needs work. Ahh and any 8 cylinder that gets over 20mpg is heaven in my book! There really isn't anything I DISLIKE about the car. If I can't get a rebuilt engine put in, I may get a newer one, or a DTS....but I love my 92 Seville!

I loved this car, the comfort, luxury, power, it handled so different than previous Caddy's, you could tell a new thought process is coming out of Detroit. A car ahead of its time and had the mix of classic Cadillac style but had some Eurpoean handling and power. It made you say "This is a Cadillac?
