Where do I start? This car was 10 years ahead of its time. The technology that sits under the hood is something that is common place in today's automobiles, but was state of the art in 1991. With a $30,000+ price tag brand new, the performance that this car exhibits is no laughing matter. The first gear acceleration from a dead stop is typical of what you'd expect from an import product, but when this V6 hits second gear with the pedal pinned to the ground, you better hold on tight!!! The torque steer is quite intense while you're thrust into the seat hanging on for dear life as the RMP's rev, the tires let out a fierce chirp and you pull away from all unsuspecting vehicles around you. A sleeper?...that's putting it mildly. I had no idea the Acura Legend was such a firecracker. Stopping power is only satisfactory from the all around disc brakes. This car could definitely benefit from larger brakes. Handling is great. Because of its low stance, this car corners like a bastard. I quite enjoy out-cornering most modern cars when I'm out driving my Legend. It's funny to watch other cars trying to keep up with me. The build quality of this car is definitely up there with the finest cars that automotive manufacturers have to offer. After 235,000 kilometers, this car still runs strong and has a reasonably tight suspension. The only major repair that had to be done to this car was the head gaskets when I bought it...apparently a common issue with these cars at around the 200,000 km mark. Like a lot of the early 90's Honda products, this car never seems to die. It takes the abuse I throw at it everyday as my daily driver and continues to perform well beyond what I need it to do. I cannot believe I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in this car yet!!! (I should quite while I'm ahead) Styling wise, I love how aggressive the front end looks. It looks like it's going a million miles an hour standing still. The rear end, however always left something to be desired in my opinion. I much prefer the softer curves of the four door sedan Legend's rear end. Inside the dash and center console is classy with a little touch of faux woodgrain, but not too much to make you think you're driving an "old person's" Mercedes! Fully loaded with leather interior, heated seats and climate control, this is very much a young and successful person's car. You feel great driving it because it has great looks and lot of power. Fuel economy is great for 6 cylinder. I only got 50 kilometers more to a tank on average with my old Honda Accord 4 banger. Maintenance?...other than regular oil changes and giving the car a wash and vacuum every now and then, I rarely have to lift a finger to keep this car going strong. I've owned four other cars before this one and the Legend is by far the most enjoyable car I've ever driven. It's quick, stylish and user friendly. You'd be hard pressed to ever get me to give this car up. I absolutely love it!

One of the best style's Acura came out with in the early 90's...And with one of the best 3.2 liter V6's in Japanese history. Amazing driver controls and sound system with just enough curb appeal. This Coupe was the inspiration for the later 3.2CL models!

Best vehicle ever made by acura. Superb handling, more luxury than most cars 10 to 15 years newer. Touchy cooling system must be maintained to avoid the dreaded BHG. For more info check out acuralegend.org- "the place where enthusiasts gather"
