I bought it used a month ago for 1700. It has just over a hundred thousand original miles on the 360 engine. I've had several four bys, including an older Land Rover, but this thing goes anywhere and everywhere I could want to go. The only thing I didn't like were the small tires; I've put a small lift in order to save the wheel wells, and I'm putting on some 255/70s.

I love this Jeep. Been driving it for 2 yrs, hate filling it w/gas but the thing pulls like a train and rides like a champ.

My last car was a Mercedes GL for which I paid 80k dollars. This is way, way better. Nuff' said but this was the end of the era when style was more than just being acceptable to urban magazine writers. The car has character to accompany its total usefulness. Simple, tough, reliable and cool is what it is.
