While looking around for a economy car and being 6'3 240 this one is very comfotable ,wide 60/40 bench seats..I'm getting around 20-30 miles per gal..And This one is a one "owner" 125K garage kept no rust. It does not handle like my Volvo S80 T6 but felt soild and true to the road..steering was not to bad..overall very pleased..

own 2 of them. one black 3.8L 4sp/od pw,pdl,ps,ac, ext. temp, put in limo tint, larger turbine rims. my favorite car so far. the blue one is a work in progress, might make a clone of the black one.

We had one of these in the Estate Wagon trim in white. It was mammoth of a car. It was pretty slow, didn't handle very well, but it can swallow 8 people comfortably, carry 8' x 4' pieces of plywood, and could probably tow too if we had a hitch. Lots of memories in this car.

We bought a brand new 87 LeSabre the fall of 86 and at first it was a nice step up from our 84 Century. The 3.8L 6cyl got better fuel economy than the 3L in the Century but it became a disappointment within 6 months when it began stalling and then the fuel pump began getting loud to the point that 2 people sitting in the backseat couldnt even have a conversation. The 2nd year it spent about the same amount of time in the shop as in our garage. Could not wait for the 90 MY to arrive as I was aware GM was making improvements in 88 & 89 & our neighbors 88 was not having the issues our 87 had. I would avoid the 87 MY LeSabre and get a 88, 89 or 90, besides the refresh of the 90 LeSabre it was a new series 3800 and the best engine for GM in the 90s in terms of performance and fuel economy. 30mpg was a easy accomplishment and it was a quiet car too.

looked aight..but had great gas mileage..their was a problem with the engine that if it was cold out then it would take it a while to shift..this car was a lot of fun to drive in the winter time..it did need a lot of work but it was a pretty aight car that got me by for a long time..
