Overview
The 1985 model year saw the introduction of a new trim level, the Honda Si. The Si was more powerful and chock full of luxury features.
The base 1985 Honda Prelude came with a 100-horsepower, 1.8-liter four cylinder engine. The Si upgraded to a 2.0-liter. It also had a spoiler and plenty of interior features, like power windows and doors, cruise control, and a graphic equalizer on the sound system.
The 1985 Honda Prelude has many loyal fans who say the car is very reliable, gets good gas mileage, and looks good inside and out. Some drivers have had problems with peeling paint, and many complain that the back seat is too small.

Quality and dependable. Low maintenance. Easy to find parking and handles great. It's like driving a go-kart! Decent trunk space for it's size, back seat leg room is non-existent. Easy on gas. Cost about 25 bucks to fill-up at today's gas prices of $2.79/gal

This car is tough as steel. My father bought it as my first car in 1990, in 2007 old red went to Honda Heaven. Needs cylinder head, but i'm bringing it back from the dead this summer by replacing the cylinder head. Has 270935 miles and counting. Timing Belt is perfect, Transmission still shifts, battery cable is fine and not corroded. This car is indestructible!
