Very boat-like - The "baby Lincolns" of the early 80's retained much of the style and spirit of their older cousins, but in attempts to achieve higher fuel economy and lower emissions, Lincoln downsized the engines significantly. 400/460cid gave way to 302cid, carburated went out to throttle body injection. These towncars are just the ride you would expect; luxurious and boatlike. Slows down well, accelerates like a fat kid.

Great car for teaching new drivers the finer art of parrallel parking. also good if driving anywhere theres ice or snowy roads as it weights 5400 pounds an can get thru just about anything as long as have good tread on the 15" stock tires. built like a tank, an rather fondley known as a landyacht for its rolling over bumps as if your on cloud nine in a boat lol.
