This is a great model Alfa. Sporty, great handling, and beautiful Italian style.

I have really enjoyed owning this car since I bought it new in 1984. The drive out price was $17,200 so in 2012 dollars it was a $35,000 car. It's a well built car and IF you fix whatever goes wrong at once then you'll avoid a domino effect of other knock on problems. It has 170,000 miles on it and I still drive it weekly, it was a daily driver for over 18 years and I honestly think that is why it is still around. I have put some money into it over the years and the invention of Al Gore's internet was a blessing after Alfa pulled out of the US in 1994. Nowdays you can get 85% of the parts you need...getting a mechanic who is competent to work on it is much more challenging. Honestly, it's a difficult car to work on, not because of complexity but because everything has to be moved or taken off to get to the tight spaces in the engine compartment. I still marvel at its classic sports car looks, they just don't make them like this anymore. It's a REAL classic.

Great classic Italian sports car. The 1984 is a good compromise. The older ones perform better, and are a little more stylish, but they are rarely had for under $15,000 now. This one is definitely an attention getter! Not much beats it in the $10,000 price range!
