I like the looks, yes even though it isnt trendy or streamlined. VERY VERY reliable, even though its THIRTY years old. MPG is a bit disappointing, 23.8 on highway, 13.4 in town (hills). K jet FI is very relaible. Easy car to work on. Very good brakes. Handling is OK, but not up to modern car standards. Upgraded sway bars help a LOT, IPD makes good ones and installation is easy. Noisy interior at hwy speeds. I'll be keeping mine for a long long time. Easy fix for a rough idle? New injector seals, cheap, easy and they make a big difference. Mark

This was the first year turbo edition that Volvo released. Added an intercooler, rally strut bracing under the hood, and frame bracing underneath.Next project, rebuild suspension, then install an IPD turbo boost actuator and up the PSI slightly.

Bought for 100€, driven for 3years without any problems. Performance was poor because of b19a 97hp engine and 3gear autobox. Used to tow car trailer also, not quite rocket with 1500kg car in trailer. In winter it was very nice drift machine, so smooth to slide.
