Not great in the looks department, but in terms of economy, performance (for its age that is), ease to run, funkiness, driving enjoyment, and ease to drive, it's pretty damn good. The seats, if not worn, look and feel pretty good. The engine is increadibly reliable, and runs like a dream, even if it's been battered down. The build quality is decent, but water leaks tend to occur, and so does rust. Surprisingly stable!
