Great little simple car. Rebodied in the 70's. Now very light and quick + free road tax in the UK

Not a great car for daily use, but a fun little sports car to cruise around in! Not very powerful, but the look and sound make up for that! Sounds and looks amazing! I wouldn't enter any races with mine though.

Italian looks... but British engine :-( The answer? Drop in a period Italian Twincam engine as designed by Lampredi (Ferrari race engine designer) and you get performance to match the looks :-) OK it annoys the purists, and the economy suffers, but the insurance is barely affected and performance is out of this world! Add twin 40s, minilite wheels, a GT6 bonnet and you have my idea of perfection.
