The 2022 BMW X1 makes terrific use of its subcompact SUV footprint. It provides generous room for passengers as well as up to 58.7 cubic feet of cargo space, which is excellent for its class. With the rear seats in use, the X1 still provides a generous 27.1 cubic feet of cargo space. The X1 was first introduced for the 2013 model year. The Convenience Package adds an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, hands-free power liftgate, proximity keyless entry, and a panoramic moonroof. Finally, the Premium Package adds all of the content from the Convenience Package, as well as genuine leather, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and a head-up display.
