Love the dirve, but very uncomfortable in the back for passengers. Especially the 3rd seat, feels like you are sitting on an uncomfortable toy chair.

Beautiful vehicle and I love the way the seats lay down and make a great base for the cargo area. Drives a bit stiff and the ride is rough.

"yes it did. The highlander basically drives itself, the steering wheel stays straight and so does the vehicle. The 4Runner took some constant watching."

2015 Toyota 4Runner Trail Premium 4WD Review
says:
The trail up fit seems to have softer suspension, probably for off road use. Because of the softer suspension the truck feels less comfortable on tight turns at speed, feels more tippy and less tight. Other than that it is a great truck, comfortable, good acceleration, braking and roominess.

2015 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD Review
says:
Very tight as far as space inside the vehicle. The vehicle drove fine and like it was new even though it was a 2012. The financing wasnt great for an older vehicle, but I paid the same amount for a fully loaded 2015 Ford Explorer Limited. The vehicle seems a bit high for turning, the seats arent comfortable, but I definitely felt like I could take it off the road in the snow or mud. It felt more like a truck than an SUV

"I dont plan on off roading and I enjoy the ride much better in the Explorer even if I am loosing a bit of 4WD power because of it."

After driving the FJ Cruiser as my primary vehicle and moving over to the 4 runner. It just works better for my daily use. Its much more comfortable when hauling more than two people.

"The back seats are comfortable. They sit slightly higher than the front, so you get a good view and they recline; which is awesome for road trips."
