Awesome love everything about the car nothing missing!! Runs awesome drives perfectly!! I won’t buy anything but Subaru!!! I totaled my first Crosstrek , took the accident so well I had to get another!!!Jul 22, 2024

More like a 3.5 rating. Overall good value. Gave a good test drive and in good condition. Clean interior. A couple of things to note. The drivers seat seemed to sit a little low...can see its lower than the passenger seat. Also seemed like the seat support could be reinforced. Second the radio/navigation screen was a little cloudy, like maybe some moisture in it. Jun 17, 2024

I love everything about this car other than that the USB port is at the bottom of the arm rest, so it can be a pain to get to if you have things in there. Other than that, the car is great! Good gas mileage, it's comfortable, room for stuff in the back, great on the back roads . Not too big or too small!

Very styling. Great to drive during the Summer & Winter. I wish that future models would have more horsepower like the Impreza. Not much of a difference between the Hybrid MPG and the regular model. I hope the Hybrid model would improve mpg up to 40 mpg.Dec 30, 2014

under powered, especially when airconditioner is on. Overall great car, unless you're looking for a hot rod. CVT takes some getting used to when you're used to a standard automatic transmission. I'm sure the CVT would do great in snow or mud. Sep 23, 2014

Well, if power is not your goal then this little Subaru XV Crosstrek is the perfect Colorado AWD car. It's super sexy and great looking. Who doesn't like of this new line from Subaru. It relatively inexpensive to get into and it won't break you to keep in shape. It's AWD so you can go most anyway in Colorado but with it's little 4 banger motor you will not be in the fast lane often. We love our little Subaru.Aug 29, 2014

Tons of fun to own and drive, excellent braking and handling only slightly offset by low power and less than racing standard accelerations. Overall an incredible car provided racing or showboating isn't part of a daily drive. This is an amazing vehicle! I have owned this for about 6 months now and I am very pleased with it. Ride and Comfort were big on my list, and it has exceeded my expectations! And I can not complain about the fuel economy when I am filling my tank about every 10 days instead of every 4-5 with my last car! Adequate acceleration.
Very Fuel Efficient 2L Engine that is very willing to get going.
AWD keeps you safe in any weather condition. Tried out on gravel road.
Appearance: Very rugged looking, some people like it, its all personal
preference.

2013 Subaru Crosstrek transmission issues
Over a week ago, while driving my Crosstrek across country from Colorado to Florida, my At Oil Temp light started flashing (along with AWD, traction control, and hill assist, I believe- but those were just lit, not flashing). I googled, waited 40 minutes on the side of the highway in 97 degree heat, turned car on again and the light was still flashing. I had my car towed to the Macon, GA Subaru dealership. The next day they replaced the valve body (under the 100k extended CVT warranty) and sent me on my way. About 50 minutes later, I had pulled off at an exit and was in a drive thru lane when the lights came on again. I called the dealership and payed a hefty tow fee to have my car taken back. The dealership said the code was actually a different one than before and they needed to get my car to replicate the error. Now, over a week later, the dealership tells me they have put about 60 miles on my car trying to get another code to pop up, to no avail. It seems they are unwilling to investigate further. I am concerned that my car has simply not been driven enough at one time to replicate the error, but freely admit I know nothing about cars. The first instance occurred on my 4th day of driving across country, and I had been driving for hours prior to the lights turning on. The second instance had been an hour of highway driving at 60- 80 mph. I am currently 4 hours away from this dealership. I am going to have to get a one way car rental to even retrieve it. I am terrified of being stranded on the side of a highway again and having yet another expensive tow cost I cannot afford (I just graduated in June and have not worked in a year so I am living on savings until I find a job). My questions to this group are- 1) Should I drive my car at highway speeds in the area close to the dealership for an hour or so before actually starting on my 4 hour journey home? 2) Is the heat of the day possibly a factor? Should I drive in the evening/early morning and take frequent breaks for the engine to cool? Or is that difference negligible? I really don't know what to do and I'm so frustrated by everything and scared to get stranded again. Other details- car has 82k miles on it. All services have been at Subaru dealerships and on time per Subaru guidelines. My engine was replaced by Subaru at 62k miles (they covered it under warranty though I was technically almost 2k miles out of warranty) due to a rod knocking and I was told by the service worker managing my case it was a fluke given the service records on my car. I have really started wondering if I just have a lemon on my hands.

Blower Motor - Not working on High
The blower motor has no power when the selector is set to high. It works fine on levels 1, 2, 3. Power seems to drop both to the fan and AC switch when set to high. I have checked fuses, replaced the resistor, and I have replaced the relay with no effect. I am looking to find the next logical point of possible failure. I am competent on all aspects of working on mechanical issues but I have no expertise on how to measure/diagnose electrical issues - but I can easily follow instructions. My next steps would be to pull the selector switch to make sure there are no shorts or dirty contacts? I have no history with the car - I just purchased it for my son and discovered the issue.

I just replace my front right cv axle. Then the seal went bad replace it. It has had a bad shake in front end sice I replaced axle what could this be it is shaking during acceleration when stopped and when reaching 70mph. Pleade help
