2009 Ford Expedition El Limited 4wd — This is my second Expedition. The first was a 2001 EB 4WD. I was always interested in the EL for the additional space, as I use this for work as well and frequently need to transport materials & equipment. I can say that I would recommend to anyone needing space & towing capability without hesitation. Just be aware that it's pretty thirsty. I knew that going in though, so I don't consider that a drawback. This one actually gets batter mileage that the 2001 EB ever did, at 16 mixed.

Pros: Nothing but great things to say, aside from parking downtown, LOL!

Cons: Parking can be a challenge; it doesn't fit too many decks and street parking is a rarity in Richmond.

Would Buy Another — Great SUV for the Price, good acceleration, good braking, regular handling over 60 mph. Great for towing mid size boat. Good quiality. Great Appeareance interior. Normal exterior. Good gas mileage, regular maintenance. No to fun to drive, just real confortable.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: SYNC and air on seats

Cons: should be all wheel drive

2009 Ford Expedition EL XLT 4WDReview

Great Vehicle! — I just purchased a Expedition EL XLT 4X4 and all I got to say is this is a awesome vehicle. The performance of the vehicle is excellent when it comes to applying the brakes smoothly and good acceleration when slowing down or up. The custom-installed additions (satellite radio, SYNC, power-fold rear seating) is top notch as is the air conditioning. The dark blue exterior appearance looks sweet even though I wish that the lower bodyside cladding was black. The interior was comfortable and made you feel at home. The cost was well worth the hard earned money and the gas mileage was within budget. This vehicle may not be for everyone, but I enjoyed every trip I make when I drive this baby!

Pros: Excellent performance overall

Cons: If they had lower black bodyside cladding

"Better styling- cleaner lines, but unfair to compare mid-size truck with large suv."
