Goid Car. — I got it used so the price of $4,900.01 was a bargain. I like the ride and styling of this vehicle. I plan to keep it well into my senior years. It is a dependable vehicle and a great choice for a used car.

Pros: Smooth ride. 27 MPG on highway. Handels great.

Cons: Gas tank is too small.

Would Not Buy Another One. — I was on fire to find a 2006-07 B9, loving the Alfa Romeo inspired styling and thinking I really needed the extra room of a small SUV. After owning for about 1 month, I was ready to sell it, but since my wife was the primary driver, we kept it for about a year, then had to sell. This thing really needed a turbo or something to bump it about 50-75 hp. For what we got in gas mileage (upper teens) this thing should have been a rocket ship, but sadly it drove more like a paper airplane. The overall design was fairly interesting and fresh, but the ride quality was also quite poor (loud and crappy handling, even for an SUV). Bottom line, we were disappointed the entire year of ownership and would not have another one.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Styling

Cons: Terribly under-powered, materials were typical Subaru quality - slightly underwhelming.

Fantastic Family Car — The only thing that i would have to say that i dislike about my car is the gas mileage. Other than that it has been fantastic as far as cargo room, comfort, safety, and how it handles in the snow!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The way it handles in the snow, and the amount of room that it provides

    Cons: Gas mileage

Great Family Suv Low Maintenance — I have really enjoyed how little I spend on maintenance. The only things I have purchased have been tires, brakes and belts, all maintenance items. The interior of this truck is very much up to date. Dark carpet on the floors and even lights up in red on the dashboard at night. Looks like other vehicles that are 2012 and newer. This SUV also has puddle lights that light up on the pavement at night. They really don't serve much of a purpose except that they look cool. Now with kids going to college I am ready for a car again. .

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Family vehicle, especially with third row seat

Cons: a bit underpowered used to 8 cylinder cars

Sporty Family Transportation — This is a stylish was to move up to seven people in comfort. All-wheel drive vehicle handles more like a car than an SUV. Great sound system, leather upholstery and interior styling. Lots of room for cargo as the second and third-row seats fold down. Powerful Boxer engine. Comes with tow package and heated front seats, mirrors, etc. for winter driving.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Spacious; easy to drive; looks great!

Cons: Gas mileage is 18 city/23 highway

This Is A Fun And Verry Safe Suv. — The blind spots are the worst thing about the 2006 body style. If you are over 5' 10" or are long torsoed the are not as bad. And the other thing I had to use 91 octain gas because of the high performance motor. F.Y.I. this " 2006 Subaru B9 Tribecca" was built to Kick Butt! This model year mas made to out perform the BMW X5 and it did. That said, this is a verry fun SUV to drive. It is verry stable in all driving conditions. On top of all that it is one of the safest car to drive. Its a amazing SUV, its realy wolf in sheeps clothing. Drive one you will see for yourself.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Powerful, sporty, verry stable & safe, fold down third row seats and you have a lot of room, and in rain, snow, or ice its very stable.

Cons: There are some traid offs for this model.  The sporty styling gives you some bilnd spots but if your the one passing other cars then it doesn't mater.  With the preformance motor and the fulltime allwheel drive if you put your foot in it, and its hard not to, it can be a little thirsty. I averaged between 16-20 miles per gallon but on long trips I have gotten 24-28 m.p.g.

Some People Love Subarus, And This Is A Great Car For The Right Family. — I love the look of this car and the way it handles in snowy conditions. Mostly driven as family transportation, but we love to take it skiing in Mammoth and it always performs. The third row is a bit tight, but we usually fold it down and use for storage. When we go skiing we usually pack up a thule roof box to store the toys. Gas mileage is great on the highway, not so great around town (~14/15) but comparable to others. We are selling to get a slight larger car to handle the soccer needs, but won't part unless at the right price. Wish it had Ipod adapter that was convenient.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great AWD and kids love the DVD system

Cons: No iPod AUX, could be too small if looking for 3rd row seats to be comfortable

Tribeca — So fun to drive. Excellent everything. The drivers seat is tremendously comfortable even on long drives. The sound system is perfect and the best part is the dual climate control (it's really saved my marriage!) Can't say enough good things.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Power for such a large SUV

    Cons: None
