Best Gas Saver Car!!! — I love that it only takes $30 or less to fill up the tank. $10 fill up can take me very far. A/C is always cold. Not much maintenance to worry about. Oil change don't have to be changed until every 5000 miles.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable car. Gas Saver

Cons: No power window and power lock.

Great Family Car Or For Someone Who Likes To Have A Lot Of Room. — The Toyota Matrix has some good pick up, and offers a lot of room and good gas mileage at a great price. Toyota'a are built to last, and this car will definitely be going years down the road. Very nice.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This car has great pick up, it's 4 wheel drive, and it's a Toyota (cheap to fix, great dependability, and it will last forever). It has a lot of room with the hatchback, and it has good gas mileage.

Cons: Loud motor, which is typical with the Matrix.

Dependable — Dependable, standard not my favorite clutch work in traffic is annoying. Drove it to Phoenix from central canada and it was more comfortable than I thought it would have been. It did struggle in the mountains a 6 speed would get better gas mileage in my opinion. Good little car though all in all.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Its alright

Cons: no power in Mountains

My Toyota 2005-2010 — I loved this car and had it from new in 2005 until 2010 when I traded it in. Great economical car with plenty of room inside for everything from groceries to bikes and dogs! Very fuel economic and I liked it as it looked different to anything else on the road.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the luggage space

Cons: poor acceloration

Would Buy Another One Anytime — Over 187,000 kms and no problems at all. Gets great gas mileage, good on the highway and extremely practical. I know Toyota's reputation has taken a beating lately, unfairly I might add, but this car has been all it was promised and then some.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: See above

Cons: None

Very Affordable, Lots Of Upsides. Can't Think Of Any Downsides. — I might have put 100 dollars max on that car and that's only cause my windshield wipers broke. 40$ the tank and you can drive a good while. Has a lot of space, otherwise it's a pretty normal car. Also excellent driving in all conditions.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: We can fit a lot of ppl, 6 to be exact.

Cons: Nothing

Great All Around Car For Young Or Old — At 6'9" tall it has head and leg room. Very dependable and AWD goes in any weather. Performance is not that great, but is a very good handeling car. The all wheel drive system is great, We will keep and hand down to the kids. Great investment!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sporty, fun, room for 5

Cons: Power cold be better

Great. — Awesome in both looks and driveability (sp?) - it was a great buy and we love it very very much! Don't really know what else to say about it... Oh, it has excellent gas mileage, which is great in these times.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great gas mileage, sleek looks

Cons: The power is not ideal, but that just makes for better gas mileage

The Car I Should Have Never Bought, At Least Not With A Manual. —

My Matrix wasn't a bad car by no means but this wasn't the car I wanted but it was very cheap and new. It was a cheaper alternative to the RAV4(What I really wanted but at the time couldn't afford)It had solid build quality,The looks grew on me now I like it alot. The interior was simply wonderful. It rode well enough, Driving it around town was more of a chore than fun due to the notchy shifter, hair trigger gas pedal, Soft suspension and low profile tires are a terrible combination. getting out into traffic without about abunch of wheelspin required me to ease out into traffic and then step on it. Acceleration was reasonable around town but needs to revved hard to merge on the highway. The engine is very durable but under hard acceleration the engine is rough and noisy with manual transmission. Automatic I test drove seems to be much quieter and just as fast. I should have spent the extra money for the auto. Overall I can't say that it was a bad car because it was reliable, I since traded this in for my 07 Toyota RAV4 and I love it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Interior, room, utility, reliability, looks, price

Cons: Manual transmission, handling, touchy gas pedal

The Sports Box — be better with a stick but could'nt pass up the deal.excellant milage both city and highway .good sporty handling.will do a buck sixty on the highway with little effort.afun little drive for a small wagon, more than enough room for wifey and myself and fishing gear etc.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: handling-more like a sports model car

Cons: automatic would be much more responsive with a stick
