05 Mazda Tribute — The Mazda Tribute is fun to drive and has been a reliable travel partner as well as an every day commuter. From hauling the kids to hauling cargo it has proven more than sufficient. Also a great tailgate companion for any occasion!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Roomy and fun to drive

Cons: Needs a little more power in the 4 cylinder

A Lot Of Great Memories Driving This Vehicle. — No major repairs ever needed on our Mazda Tribute. 2005 Mazda Tribute was great for pulling a trailer of ATV's. Fits five people. Original car mats still in vehicle. Back set folds down easily to hull larger items. It has two net areas in back to store items. It has a jack I have never needed to use in the back right of trunk area. You just turn the two round knobs to open it up.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: We put over 283,000 miles on our Mazda Tribute and it is still driving great. Did very well on gas for an SUV.

Cons: Can not think of any.

Excellent Eco Valued Suv — had this tribute for 7 years now and still runs strong. Great milage and handling. Easy for home mechanic to maintain. Alittle upset that the trans filter can not be changed without taking tranny apart. Rust forming on under side though is also annoying.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: MPG, maintainace cost

Cons: color (wife picked maroon)

Good Solid Mini Suv — The car is very comfortable and very versitile. I use mine more as a pick up truck, i intalled a hitch and tow a small trailer with it all the time. I load it down too, the car pulls it fine and handles well. The gas mileage ticks me off though, i know it's a V6 but the reviews i read before i bought it all seem to have gotten a lot better gas mileage than i get.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It has plenty of room, especially in the back, the seats completely fold down.

Cons: The gas mileage. it sucks. I get about 23 or so on the highway and i drive ecenomically!

It's Inconceivable! — Overall an excellent choice for a vehicle especially if family and safety are concerned, the drive is nice and the car feels very stable, even when winds pick up driving in inter or highway. Looks are awesome and proportions are nice, good room inside without taking too much space outside.

Pros: Great steering and acceleration onto highways, looks cool

Cons: Fuel economy could be improved in city travel

Good Work Truck — The Tribute served us very well for four years. It worked, hauled a trailer down east, twice. We never had a lick of problems with it except a premature battery failure. The tires wore too quickly but that was Continental's fault.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Good reliable utility vehicle

Cons: none

Gas Mileage + 4 Dog Accessible — Great amount of rear space for all dogs, decent gas mileage (because it's a compact suv, but still), decent pep at low end for an i4

Pros: mpg, cold ac, easy steering, decent suspension

Cons: it's a mazda, it's a 4

Very Happy With My 2005 Mazada Tribute — Started looking at these because 2 of my sisters drive Ford Escapes. This is more refined than the Escape, with a better warranty. It's a little noisy, but most vehicles in this price range are. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Pros: Styling, warranty, like the color and options on mine, acceleration 0-30 mph is great, storage space!

Cons: Noisy, could use more acceleration 30-60 mph
