Very good looking and pretty good power for a 2.3L DOHC/VVT 4-cylinder. Since it's the sport it has a factory body kit and 17" wheels. It's very roomy inside and gets around 30 MPG. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a balance of good looks and performance.

Great steering, Great suspension and chasis, brakes hold up a long time (even with how I drive), love the rear windshield wiper! Comfortable heated leather seats and plenty of cup holders. Interior dash display is a low glow red so you can see well in the direct sunlight or very well inthe dark...Excellent car!

Great car for road trips! I've taken it to Missouri, Phoenix, and plan on taking it to New Mexico in May; not to mention the 50+ trips to SLC. Awesome Bose 7 Speaker sound system with an iPod hookup. Heated leather seats, telescoping steering wheel, auto dimming rear view mirror, traction control.

This car has very good handling and power. I love taking it out with the 5 speed manual transmission and pushing the limits through corners. The gas mileage isn't anything to brag about for a sedan and it doesn't help that it's too much fun to drive this thing fast. If you're looking for a fun little sedan I reccomend this car.

Many comments from others that it is the perfect 24 year old guys car. A lot of fun to drive, sleek, handles well, comfortable and can hold more cargo than you would ever imagine. Great on gas!

Replacment for the Regal. Much better car. Crisp steering and handling, good looks. Motor is a bit underpowered in natural aspiration form. This is the second 6 in my family and picked this vehicle for reliability and style. She has been named Moco, which idk if that is too nice for those of you know what that means in spanish! LOL!

great car, got good sound and leather :) drives fast, good grip, nice suspension and very good looking. very good for long trips, fuel consumption on fine level. its black and this is my fav color ;) better than mondeo and i recommend it!

My Mazda 6 was a great vehicle in all aspects. However I didn't get a chance to enjoy all these benefits for a very long time. I ended up rolling this car at 70mph three times. As it turned out I walked away from this incident with only a broken collar bone. I would recommend the Mazda 6 to anyone that is looking for a sporty midsize sedan.

It was a quick, sporty car that was able to get me where I needed to go. It didnt cost much to own and was fun to drive. However, this car did not go well in the snow and didnt do the best on gas mileage.

wifes car, over 100K miles, not much pickup or torque. good small family car. motor seems to be running sluggish but that may be because of the original owner didnt take very much care of it. over all not to bad of a ride but i would get the higher performance version of it.

I've only owned one new car before this one and it was a 00 neon. .Mazda sure kicked its butt. But I should've opted for the manual/

If you're looking for a review to purchase a used 04 or just curious to compare it to your own, here's my story. Performance: V6 is a nice drive. *I love that the music volume will gradually rise a degree up or down depending on what the surrounding noise. * It has excellent window size for visibility. Get tinted! Passengers burn in hot day sun in long commute! Cons: Transmission! you'll see this a lot. It was recalled in 2007 and they "fixed" the computer problem and it shifts worse than before. Shifts too quickly now. Everyone notices. Catalytic converter: They found out they do this for 15k miles. Mine never stopped. Periodically smells like rotten eggs. Mazda employee: "They don't like ethanol gas, which unfortunately is everywhere now." My model had a rotor defect fresh off the lot. They claimed the shaking was ABS. Come dry roads they believed me but refused to fix it. It's not warranty covered. As who knows if I drive like a psycho in 10 miles of car ownership. (jerks) Cost of ownership: you'll pay for it in insurance(high) as it's a v6 and sport category. Mazda refuses to fix regularly reported problems so be prepared to fix your own car. It's like pulling teeth to get them to pay for it. Fun factor: spacious, A/C actually reaches the people in back! Good sound system. Feels good to drive. I hope you have a much better experience than I. And my problems weren't the worse ones reported. So I do tolerate my car. it has gotten me many places so very loyally and I still own it. 59k miles and we're still driving buddies.

Overall very nice. Wish I opted for leather. A little Gas guzzly, but very strong engine-fast. Has a little lag in kickdown acceleration in the mid RPM range. This car is very fun to drive, and 5 years later, am still getting asked about it. 5-Door is a plus.

This car is still pretty new to me, and it an automatic transmission (booooo!) but it runs really well, and is way more reliable than my previous car. Very roomy inside, comfortable seats, and well designed on the interior. Exterior looks pretty sleek, too. Mecahnically speaking, the shift is very delayed, which worries me about the transmission, but it has excellent pickup. For a 4 cylinder, it sure does drive like a 6.

Good family car. overall it is a very safe reliable vehicle.

Split personality... cruiser and when you gas it it just takes off like rocket....and you have to hold on for dear life.... Great in GT form with leather and aeropackage.... good overall. Nice style for a wagon. Never thought I would have a wagon.. this is the only one worth it cause it's cool lookin'

Overall good car, I would buy it again if they hadn't changed the body style. My next car will be more in the sport luxury class...I want the same sporty feel, but more power and a more quiet /smooth ride.

Needs more power, wish it was RWD, does nice burnouts, sounds nice, 260 HP, does 10.2 at lancaster easily customized. Eats gas when you punch it, has slap shift for quicker acceleration. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Pretty nice car.

My son calls this "The Blue Race Car"...again, I think it is because of the driver but she does look fast! She has a lot of pep in her step but a terrible turning radius! She definitely likes to be pampered and runs significantly better when she's clean...don't we all? ;-)

Does everything well but nothing absolutely outstanding, a great family car or repmobile. Decent interior, loves motorways and the diesel is very economical. Huge boot and built to last.

I luv this car specialy with the mods i've made 2 it. The interior is really nice and so is the body of it. It is very fun 2 drive specialy the way it grips 2 the road. I would like a lil more power but it still goes when u want specialy with K&N air filter and performance exaust.

I love this car but wish it were a stick.. Performance is good though because it has the auto-stick feature. Build quality is good for a Japanese car, thin body panels ding easy. Gas mileage is great on the highway, fair in the city. Overall, with this car on the market, I'm not sure why there are more Camry's and Accord's on the road although that's part of the reason those are lame.... everyone has them.
