Amazing Truck For Anything That Requires Towing, Hauling Or Off-roading. — Purchased this truck for a pretty good deal when I was needing the ability to travel up to the California woods with a lot of equipment. Loved having the 5.4 V8 despite the high gas cost. It was always reliable and ready to take on any kind of road conditions. Surprised by the low miles for a 2000 vehicle. Cost of maintenance is pretty low since it's Ford and one of the most common trucks out there. Hate to see it go but I'm just not needing it anymore in Kansas City.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Powerful and able truck with plenty of room, comfort and visibility. Easy to handle and the 4WD is awesome.

Cons: Obviously the big V8 eats a lot of gas and it takes a bit more finesse to park in crowded lots.

If You Can Do Basic Mechanics Yourself You Will Rarely Need To Have It Worked On — Over all a great truck i would buy again but probably in a crew cab. With a exhaust system the sound really improves. Basic engine mods really wake her us as well. the 4x4 can clear 285-70-17 tires at stock height which is nice.

Pros: Great Styling, Great on the highway, Sounds great with lots of power

Cons: Being a ext cab not very comfortable to sit back there for long

2000 Ford F150 Lariet — Great, versatile truck. However, it is difficult to know where the truck ends and begins so parking (without buzzing something) s a challenge. Fun truck to drive and the extra payload was worth it. Hauls anything. Wish the mphs was higher.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Beautiful truck

    Cons: Turning radius sucks

Great Truck For Towing And Hauling — What I like is low maintenance cost, also has a lot of torque for towing, controls are simple, cargo capacity is great since this has the 3/4 ton underpinning and brakes, what I don't like is mileage around town is 10mpg.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Has been a trouble free truck

    Cons: Limited space in backseat

Do It All Truck! — A true do it all vehicle. I take this over other vehicles when I have choice because of the comfort. When I have a job hauling or pulling this truck gets the nod every time. Very smooth power range and shifting.

Pros: Great truck! Smooth power with great ride and overall comfort!

    Cons: Fuel economy!

2000 F-150 Work Edition Lwb — Its performance is light with the v6 4.2 but powerful enough to carry anything I've put in the bed. It was built very well its been in two accidents and is still running strong with over 200,000 miles on it. Its appearance is typical of its competition. Its cost is still low I've had it three years and spent less than 400 on all repairs including its accidents. Its long wheel base and can haul plenty in the bed so as far as its fun factor maybe if your hauling around your friends but other than that it does what it was meant to do haul cargo and get me from a to b.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its a truck its old with few problems and its been very reliable.

Cons: Its still a truck no back seats and its a work edition with a v6 so low power.

Fun, Sporty And Sounds Great! — I have had nothing but good luck with this truck. Has never failed me. my last truck with this motor in it i got 315000 miles and never failed. If i didnt have to i wouldnt sell it. Great truck!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This truck looks and drives good, doesnt use oil. Has lots of power from the triton 5.4l V8.

    Cons: 14-17 mileage per gal.

Good Quality Truck For My Purposes — I liked the looks but if you need to regularly pull a trailer then don't get the V6. The only other weak point is the power door locks. They quit working after less than 3 years. I'm buying another F150.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: reliable, stylish,

    Cons: gas mileage

All Around Good Truck — overall its a good truck, just don't forget its a truck. I pulls very well, is sure footed in slippery conditions, and is comfortable. This one sits a bit higher because it has the 7700 package which gives it more towing capabilities (1100 lbs over the avg f150 i believe it may be more than that). the 7 lug wheels that come with the 7700 package are drag because aftermarket wheels are harder to come by and seem to be more expensive.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: it can haul tons of stuff

Cons: why the *&$&^ didn't ford put grease zerks on the balljoints? Yes I replaced them, wasn't hard, just annoying
