Ugly wheels Well if it’s a 4WD the wheels are ugly. Disrespectful to a 4WD XJ.

I Refuse To Get Rid Of It, Currently At 228,000miles — I love my car, it is very reliable. Keep up with maintenance and don't drive like a jerk and it will treat you good. Some parts start to get tired once you get to the higher miles so expect to replace a few things like wheel bearings ect...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: drives almost like a car, viability is amazing, very reliable, engine will run forever, 4x4 great in snow

Cons: gas mileage is rough for commuters, rear wheel drive

Tough Little Off-roader — I loved this cars ability to go off road and to be extremely reliable. It had very good performance on and off road and was a reliable little car. It also has a lot of cargo space and on this one i had bike and roof racks for anything that i would want to bring with me and a ton of trunk space. The 4.0L inline 6 is definitely the way to go if you want one of these jeeps I don't thing I would consider getting the 4 cyl version.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great off road and as a daily commuter

Cons: Not so great fuel economy

Best Car Ever — The Cherokee remained virtually unchanged from 1984-2001, and there is a good reason for that: it was the perfect mix of size, weight, and style to last through the ages. Plenty of power, great handling, superior off-road performance, and the best value out there. It is cheap and easy to maintain, and I have never been stranded by this or my previous Cherokee. The only reason I replaced my '95 with this one was a head-on collision with a Buick a few years back. With a combined speed of 70+mph, I walked away and replaced with the same car because it was the total package, and I was blown away by the safety for such a lightweight SUV. Best car I have ever owned/driven.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything

Cons: Gas mileage isn't the best, but not bad for an SUV

It's A Jeep Thing. — I have owned this Jeep since 2006 and bought it off eBay. I'm very happy with it. It's a bit noisy driving on the highway but its dependability makes up for it. I tow a boat and camper with it with no problem.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: dependable, roomy enough

Cons: back seat not easy to get into (small), noisy drive on the hwy

Fun, Fun, Fun — though the acceleration wasn't really needed, it had great acceleration, braking, and handling was built to last and take going off-road it looked tough on the outside but was extremely comfortable on the inside was loads off fun to take off-road and into the mud/woods

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun to play around in

Cons: gas guzzler

My Awesome Jeep Cherokee. — A great truck to own. Economical for it's size. It could do with a bit more power. Excellent off road performance. Superb tow vehicle. Very stable pulling 2 tons. Great for rescuing other lesser cars. Comfortable to drive. Not fast but it accelerates well.

Pros: It scares other people.

Cons: Not enough power.

Awsome — solid performance everything holds up with trails as well as many miles on the highway. funfaktor=11/10. Watch out for failing door latches from saggy hinges, other than that keep an eye out for rust and drive it like ya stole it!

Pros: goes anywhere!

Cons: Its not a racecar...
