Awsome Hard Working Truck! — When I first purchased this truck, diesel was cheaper than gas and then is slowly rose until it was over $4 to $5 a gallon. This was very annoying and it almost got to the point where I couldn't afford to drive it much. After being this way for many years, It's finally back to being affordable again. This truck I used as a family and work vehicle. So it was comfortable and very spacious for the many tasks it was used for.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This truck is a work horse. It has served me well for almost 12 years. fuel mileage is generally a consistent 13 to 14mpg, but I've been as high as 18 to 20mpg. The 6.5L is very reliable. The overall truck has been  very good and has worked hard for many jobs

Cons: The 6.5L V8 is a loud rattle box. It also needs to plugged in during the winter months   The injector pump has been the only very expensive major part ever replaced. And you cannot buy it new. It's available only as a rebuilt part.

All the lift is done by the hydralic lift in the bsck of the bed, enclosed box for security. There is a entry door from the front cab. Is not that bad on gas for being a box cutaway van. Read More
