Great vehicle. I have always loved the style of the Defender 90 NAS. The 1994 was the 1st year of NAS model with a 3.9L engine. Love the soft top version the most. Jul 21, 2022

This is a vehicle that I have been looking for. My goal is to fabricate some newer style bumpers that give better approach and departure angles. We plan to tuck the exhaust and seal up the belly for break over.Sep 25, 2014

This truck is a pleasure to drive. The best thing about it is that you can drive it 70 miles an hour on the highway comfortably and it also handles incredibly well off road. Gas mileage is not great but I don't think people interested in this truck are looking for fuel efficiency.Jan 19, 2012

Awesome off-road, totally agricultural on the tarmac. It is noisy, rattles, pretty cramped up front for me (I'm pretty tall) but it is honest, reliable and quite simply great fun with loads of on-road presence. I've used Land-Rovers professionally and for fun. They are one of the few cars that can actually truelly excel in what they are designed for.Dec 01, 2011

The best 4x4xfar, need I say any more? Yes, because the computer says I have to write 40 more words. The ultimate vehicle to get you wherever you want to go. Completely classless, rugged and easy to maintain. 60 years on and it still has not been bettered.Dec 08, 2010

As the old british saying goes, its the best 4x4xfar. its the most incredible off-road/utility vehicle ever made. It does have its issues now and then, but regardless of what maitainence it may need, it will give you more than you can ask of it. And, its tons of fun to ride in, let alone drive. everything is so precise; you can feel and hear everything its doing from the driver seat, and it does it smooth as glass. Like a good sports car. speaking of that, it handles unusually well for a 4x4, and the brakes amaze me to this day! and, the old rover V8 is peppy, but not as much as you'd expect. it can go kinda fast... at the expence of LOTS of gas. I'm going to fix that though!
oh, and driving with the top off in the summer is something anybody who likes cars or the outdoors at all should experience once.Mar 08, 2009

Man, I love these things. This ain't my one, but it's pretty much the same. Love my yellow landy. Galvanised chassis, leather seatd, tows a boat, lasts forever! What else could any enthusiast ever need from a car? P.s. It ain't fast!Feb 05, 2009

Simply the best off roader. Been around a while without needing much in the way of updating. Designed so well, doesn't need cheap plastic gimmicry.
Can I talk the hind axle off you about them some more?Feb 01, 2008

90% of all Land Rovers ever built are still on the road. Not to mention off it. Meanwhile, 70% of all Subaru Imprezas ever made have been written off. Other people can go fast, I can go anywhere.Jan 02, 2008
