Outdated features. Value highly depends on prior owners effort to take excellent care of the Corvette. The C5 sits low to the ground and so the undercarriage must be inspected, also, research other problems associated (specifically) with the 1993. I believe that the totally badged, merlot-type color, 50th Anniversary, is more likely to have been carefully driven, .....but, not always. Compare this car to the 2003 BMW Z4 before you purchase either.

Only problem with this car is just not a huge yellow fan. Don’t get me wrong yellow is great just looking for. A blue or dark red.

Most of this model must be dependable, quite a few around with high mileage. After severe pollution control years, this model is decent. Need automatic tranny for sure.

Good Power And Fun To Drive. Should Be Smaller And Better Quality To Be World Class. — At the time, an incredibly powerful car. The Z07 package had the ZR-1 suspension and brakes without the additional weight and power. Excellent car for daily driving and weekend competition. Could get as much as 31 mpg on freeway driving. Original Z07 brakes are weak. Put 6 piston Wilwood brakes on front and moved the front brakes to the back for better stopping power.

Pros: Great horsepower for the money.

Cons: GM can never get the quality to the level claimed every time they update the model.

Nothing Beats A Truely American Made Sports Car — This vettes acceleration is outstanding. Braking and handling is superior. It is a ease to control and a fun sports car to drive. The overall appearance of this American made sports car is second to none. Nothing like owning a Corvette.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: I love  the body style of the C4 Corvette. Red is for vettes.

Cons: Its a little hard to get out  of when you are 6'1" like I am. But you have to give a little to enjoy such a super american sports car.

1993 40th Anniversary Lic#" Vette 40" — When you wrap your ass in C4 fiber glass you will understand. The 91-93 vettes have the sweetest cockpit, you feel like a jet fighter pilot. This car is fun to drive and totally responds to your every command. A true giant killer.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: perfomance

Cons: cleaning
