Truck runs fine until I cut the ac on then it idles up but never comes back down. The compressor doesn’t cut off until I cut it off. Also I had the trans replaced, it’s a 700r4. When driving at 65mph or so everything’s fine but if I let off the gas it doesn’t down shift so I can get back up to speed. It stays in overdrive. No one has been able to figure it out. |

Decent Truck. — This original owner used this truck for work. Hauling and towing were among it's duties. I bought it for $4200 with 242,000 kms. The tranny went shortly after I bought it. I bought a used tranny and installed it, got another 50,000 km some towing my old camper (5,000lbs). Ran three more transmissions through it but they were cheap and most likely damaged (one was my fault). The original engine was strong, the rings were going and needed valve seals but strong. Put my RV camed motor in with the first tranny swap, which assisted in the tranny trouble hehe, added to my heavy foot. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Decent power, parts are cheap and everywhere for a 350 SB. Cons: The 700r4 transmission. The ignition module. |

This Is A Good Truck — It got enough power but not too hard on gas, good brakes and handles pretty good too. I didnt have to do much repairs to it except the fenders a little. I like driving my truck, and I plan to put some money in the engine to make that truck into a sleeper-muscle truck Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: easy to work on Cons: needs more power |

1992 Gmc Sierra C1500 — my 1992 gmc 1500 is a good truck overall. its performance is great. accelerates good and brakes just as good. ive put an engine in it because a previous owner messed up the engine that was in it. it currently has a 350 throttle body injected. it doesnt look the greatest because it sat in a barn for a while and it has a few dents and scratches. but it is a great truck. Pros: a strong truck Cons: gas milage |
