Get This Car! — Phenomenal car to drive and own. Comfortable and well made, Easy to drive. Not the fastest car but certainly a well rounded car. Fair handling fair acceleration, and nice top speed. Easy to work on and parts are reasonably priced. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: An all around performer, Great in just about every area. Cons: Needed more power, That's why I put a VR6 in mine. =) ![]() Looking for a Used Golf GTI in your area?CarGurus has 2,730 nationwide Golf GTI listings starting at $2,650. |

The Original Hot Hatch — This is an amazing car. parts are dirt cheap and easy to find. working on the car is like playing with legos when you were a kid. it could always use a little more power, as most cars do. but the handling around tight corners is superb Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: GO-kart like handling Cons: it is prone to maintenence |

Vw Golf Gti — The Golf MK2 is a popular used car choice – and rightly so – with plenty of good cars still around. Its reliability and build quality have won many fans, while the performance of the GTis has allowed many to get sports car performance for family car prices. As such demand remains high. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Performance, Old Skool Style, Cons: None |

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: overall good looking and cheap to drive and own Cons: it's quite old and has many outher owners before me.. |

The Goof Gti 8v — It's a 5 door hatch, drop down menu doesn't cater for that, Graphite grey. Like it lots. its comfy as it can be being a hatch back from the early '90s. Mechanically, it seems to go on forever just like all the other Golfs. It's pretty much standard, apart from.......nothing. though even in my '30s, insurance firms still want to screw me over for it. Pros: most of it Cons: insurance |

My Gti — I Love this car, it handles well and I love driving it. It is however getting old so parts are starting to wear out. Im fixing things as I go along and plan to do a full re-furb, inside and out. The pic is of a 3dr 16v GTi where as mine is a 5dr 8v GTi. I'd recommend a Golf to anyone who was hesitant about buying one, thet're great fun to drive and very reliable. Pros: Getting old so things need replacing Cons: Fun to drive and has enough kick |
