Overall I Like It — big old tank. runs good. had to do some rewiring. overall a good old truck. drives straight down the highway and has hauled everything i have thrown at it so far. blast to go play down dirt roads in. have yet to get it stuck.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: i like the towing and 4 wheel drive

Cons: fuel economy sucks.

I Wish I Would Have Kept The Truck Nice To Still Have It. — It had hard core acceleration, horrible braking, and horrible handling. It was show room when I got it. After it came off the mtn it needed a welded frame, a new tire, new lifters, and sway arms. The interior was nice until I stripped it all and made it a mtn truck. It had a great exterior until I took it up the mtn and hit every tree possible. The gas mileage was ok. I loved taking this truck four wheeling. It ran like a hoss.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: I loved four wheeling in this truck because it would go anywhere.

Cons: I hated that I sold it because it was tore up.

Love It — its just an old truck that is a work horse and is used for the things a truck is made to do. a testament to fords ability to build a product good enough that it is still being used and is still dependable after 21 years of service.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: its a ford its a, 4x4, its 5sp

Cons: not the greatest on gas

Get One That Is 5.0 5 Speed And 4x4 And You Have Th Perfict Car — i do not like the short bed ,but it has a 5.0 paired with a 5 speed, but when i get done with it it will be hell on wheels.the gas millage is not the best ,but the fuel injection and manule trans helps

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 5.0

Cons: n/a

Awesome — For a 1990 pickup with only 141,000 miles and only one owner , this truck is in an exellent condition, and runs great. The engine is clean and so is everything under the hood as well as the interior, I plan to lift this baby up and put some 24 inch bed lock rims wit some bad a@@ of roading tires. Then maybe take out the inline 6 and put a v8 in.

Pros: Awesome truck

Cons: none

Just Awesome. — My first vehicle ever. An absolutely great truck. Built like a brick house. Has some decent get up and go. Straight gas-guzzler though. Mine got around about 9 mpg most of the time. Great fun to drive though, and I wouldn't trade anything in the world for it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a truck.

Cons: Gas Mileage

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Made by the best!

Cons: Not a dang thing!!

1990 F150 Lariat Xlt 2wd 5.0l V8 — My parents bought it for me as my first vehicle. It was garage kept by a coworker of my fathers. Gas mileage was about 11/14 when I got it and after Intake, Exhaust, MSD 6AL Ignition and Underdrive pulleys it was up to 14/18. The only thing that went bad on it when I had it was a power window motor and motor pump. Was a blast to drive, even on only 31" tires and 2wd it handled great off road. Build quality was solid, power had a little to be desired but after the above listed mods it would chirp the rear tires pretty easily (3 on the tree transmission)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Appearance, Went anywhere it needed to, plenty of torgue

Cons: Gas mileage

It Gets Me From A To B — i have had it for six years now and its just starting now to get bad and not run right, other than that it has been pretty reliable for how much i have beat on it, right now its running rough and needs a new U-joint

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: all the wotk i have done to it and learned from it

Cons: its old and ready to be retired

My F-150 — it is an old vehicle. the people who i bought it from told me it wouldn't last thru the winter of 08' and here it is the winter of 09' and it still works. just proves that american cars are made better. i don't care if i get 11 MPG. my truck is a work horse.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: AWESOME

Cons: ugly
