it is hard to keep maintenance due to where I have to store it at the moment. it is just the right size for my wife and I. it was rebuilt and a lot of things were replaced before we bought it. trying to get it running to move it to our retreat in Brooksville,fl. there I can work on it and fix it up the way it needs to be fixed.Dec 27, 2014

over all a very good vehical. i use it manly for work but haul me family around in it to. lots of room, i can haul a pontoon boat without trouble and a 18ft cannoo on the top easaly. l love this van.Jun 16, 2012

Rusts easy, great gas mileage, electrical nightmare, easy to drift or get on two wheels, fun as hell to drive, and very smooth and comfy ride for those lon g road trips. cant go wrong with big ass ride, ever.Aug 12, 2010

Accleration is awesome for a van, brakes stop quick, handles like a sports car.
everything sqeeks after 200k miles, some minor problems that cause major problems.
exterior is outdated styling but can be made up to look good for low cost, interior looks great as long as it is taken care of.
gas mileage is decent for a 7.5L engine, maitainace is not costly because of its age.
And its is awesome when you beat someone in race with what they expect to be slow.Aug 12, 2010

This 88 Ford F150 was a die hard truck. Used all it life as a work truck. It lasted til 2000. The engine had 390000 miles when I got rid of it and was still ticking along. The only complaint I had was the brakes didnt hold up too well.Feb 04, 2010

its got 3 sets of lights inside it it is very huge and the bed in the back with a tv inside you could live in the damn thing like i do sometimes it even has a closet in the very back

It actually was a 1975 E-350 with a HUGE 460 engine. Full conversion with wood paneling and blue shag carpet. it went all over the country, literally. Had little issues here or there, but was a solid vehicle. I actually had this in college in Oregon and it was perfect. I eventually outfitted it with off road tires and dual 4" side exit exhaust and it sounded like a nascar. so much fun. pile in 10 friends and go anywhere. this one I miss too.May 23, 2008

The E250 is a powerhouse meant for haulin. It has overwhelming cargo space and mine has a roof deck of 7'x17'. A wee bit on the sloppy side for steering but it is a larger truck.Jun 14, 2007

problem with my 1989 ford e250 conversion van
I have just purchased a 1989 ford e250 conversion van. It has apparently been sitting for several years. The mileage is 59,000. It stops running after 5 miles. I have had it towed 4 times in the past 2 weeks. Each time, it only ran for 5 miles. It would barely start but if left for an hour it would start again. They have replaced the computer, the distributor, the starter, the ignition, the battery, the fuel pump and filter, the ground wire, the battery cables, blew out the fuel lines and here I am stuck again. Any ideas please?
