he Ramcharger was primarily produced as a full-time four wheel drive vehicle, although a two wheel drive version was available starting in 1975. My 1988 Ramcharger has rear wheel drive in which only 10% was of these trucks was produced that year. It also has a 360/ 5.9 Liter engine.Mar 28, 2014

Aside from that, the dealership messed up getting the truck. I wanted power doors, windows and A/C. Didn't even care if it had a radio. They found this thing for more $ but it didn't have any of the options i wanted. Don't ever sign the paperwork before you inspect the vehicle!!! Was pouring rain and they said they were just cleaning it up. Stupid mistake on my part and when the trans went, just a mess!Oct 02, 2013

I need to do a lot of work to it. Great truck espesially for $400. Vibrates at 55 and up for some reason. Tires and wheels are balanced and round. U-joints are good, driveline is balanced. Must be the bushings.
Put your foot into it and away you go.Nov 18, 2010

This is my first car I ever had, and well I still have it. I dont ever really use it cuse i have a better new truck, but it has that sentimental valus crap hold on me i guess so i cant get rid of it.Oct 22, 2009

Performance is good for the most part but its a little to
heavy to be fast. Ownership cost is high for gas but low
for repairs. Its very fun to drive looks great in my opinion.
Build quality is very good and the 318 engine is built to
last. Overall its a great vehicle for those who like to tow
stuff, go off-roading and go on adventures.May 12, 2009

Tough, reliable, solid and loyal. I love how easily it starts on a cold morning, and I love how it never has any drive train related problems. I love my Dodge, but it does have flaws: fuel economy (12 mpg) and could use a bit more power (only 230hp at the engine).Dec 20, 2008

this was a awsome truck. this isn't the one we used to have but it is very similar. ours was raised like this one with a big push bar and a soft top on the back.Jan 06, 2008
