I Would Love For Anyone To Drive These Trucks, I Think They Look So Good. — - I bought this truck back in 08 from the Food lion auto fair in Charlotte, NC. I only paid 2,300 for the truck with a 121,000 miles on it. Im 17 years old and i love everything about cars, So this past summer i pulled the engine. Its a 302 short block carb. Well I had the Cylinders Bord .40 over with a small 358 lift Comp cam, I finished it up with a Edelbrock performer intake and 600 CFM carb. I estimate its pushing around 325-335 horsepower, Im going to go get Dynoed this summer after a I do a little more. I love this Truck to death. This was my dream car growing up and to find one has really made my life so much better. I strive to make this truck look good at all time, I keep it detailed all the time and it pretty much stays in shows. While everything on the outside looks good as paint wise, other than one rust spot, (and never been wrecked), the interior looks remarkably well too. This was probably the best investment of my life to me. right now ive put a little ove $6,000 into the truck working a part time job, But when you love something you strive to make it look its best. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Its a smooth cool ride Cons: Nothing |

Rolling Death Trap — moves from the stoplight at half the speed of squeak, but once it rolls there is no stopping fast. Gas mileage sucks, even for a straight 6, and when you try to turn, chances are that you will keep going straight! Squeaks and rattles would be a dream compared to this vibrational nightmare, and don't run it too hard, because you will be on the side of the road before long. Fix or repair daily? More like on the hour. As for mileage, it reads only 89,000. My guess is that it has spun all the way around at least 4 times. And as you can guess, it looks worst than the rest. Costs an arm and a leg every day, and by the time its all said and done, ill not have had any fun. But ill be without limbs, and stuck at the shop, never fun, but it must be done. WHY DID I BUY A FORD?! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: STAY AWAY! Cons: Run for your LIFE |

My 84 F-150 — I love this truck. It has taken a lot of my money to keep it running but it has all round great performance. I would never sell it or get rid of it. It is a country boys truck. I am wishing to fix it up and make it a show truck after college. My dad gave it to me and i thank him greatly for giving it to me. It has gotten me into a lot of trouble and has also gotten me out of a lot. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: It will get you in trouble Cons: Money trap |
