Cool Car! — Always dreamed of having the 78 since high school. It rides nice and I have restored the majority of the mechanical systems. Looks good and gets lots of thumbs up from passers-by. Fun for the car shows and summer cruises.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's a looker!

Cons: Lack of gas mileage.

Love My All Original 78 Pace Car — she is a very fun car to drive and show....she has the original working 8 track player and people are amazed she gets me a trophy every time, the down side to her is she gets about 8-10 mpg and parts are hard to come by but she is 36 years old (2014) people always ask me about her wherever we go.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun to drive, car show winner, all original, T-tops,

Cons: gas, gas, gas, finding parts, gas and gas :)

Sporty Looks — Love the look and feel of the older Corvette, my first automotive child hood memory is of my uncle restoring and 1957 Corvette and riding to school in his 1964 Corvette was so cool, I miss the good old days.

Pros: Love the body style of the older corvettes,

Cons: no cargo area other than behind the seats

I Love The Looks A Lot. — It rides rough but is fast. I love the looks. It burns a lot of gas. It was modified to be a racer. I would use this car for a show car. I believe with a little work it could win awards.

Pros: It is an awesome muscle looking car. It gets a lot of attention.

Cons: It doesn't give enough room to ride in it.

A Great Classic And 25th Anniversary Model Of The Corvette — Everything I mentioned in the "Pros". We get a load of compliments when showing it off at car shows and even thumbs-up from other drivers when cruising on the highway. The acceleration is awesome, from standing start to passing other cars while at speed.

Pros: - head turner
- vast improvement in speed over stock 350 engine
- has that great popping/throbbing exhaust sound due to solid lifters and cam
- fun to drive

Cons: - new radio doesn't work after spending $289 for it (might be loose antenna cable)
- very warm in hot weather;  AC works but I think blower needs checking
- not very comfortable on long trips over 300 miles

Beautiful '78 Vette, Original, Only 9500 Miles. — Very quick, handles great, a real head turner. I've wondered if the front and rear spoilers are options added after delivery/sale. Not mentioned on original invoice, and I haven't seen any Silver Anniversary editions with spoilers ... only the Pace Car model.

Pros: A great car.

Cons: Not very comfortable for an old guy.

Adventure And Control! — We like the looks and performance of this vehicle. It runs well. It is not a vehicle for everyone. The uses of this vehicle is more limited than most others. We love the Anniversary edition. Driviing it makes one feel as if we are flying in it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great for the right buyer who enjoys the running of the engine, the looks, and the feeling of control. Beautiful anniversary edition.  Many nice features.

Cons: Car takes expensive gas.  Not a family vehicle.

Great Car If You Have Money — Not a bad car for a person who has the time to properly restore it. Performance wise it's lacking in HP and being as it's coming of age, the systems are slowly starting to deteriorate (2012) but that's what you get with the territory.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The looks you get simply driving down the road.

Cons: Constant maintenance and TLC.

The Car Is Awesome — The C3 corvette is immensely fun to drive. It certainly has the looks and the power. However, is only a two-seater and it has no hatch so you unless you can get over the seats its not going in the car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It has the power, t-tops, and its corvette red.

Cons: Fuel consumption is atrocious.

I Like It — traded my old HD sporty for it. I like driving it on weekends so I have not started to rebuild yet. Maybe i'll wait till I retire so it will not take years to do. I'm and old bodyman so stripping and painting won't be a problem. will need help with mechanican and electical thou.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun to drive

Cons: needs complete resto
