The last year of a Stingray convertible for Corvette C3 model. Reliable daily driver and not expensive to maintain. I had a 1976 Stingray that I should have never sold.

Need To Make Some Improvements — love the overall look, motor sounds great and shifts smoothly, nice ride on the highway. i have to fix the signals, lights, wipers, passenger window, and it definitely needs a new paint job. i am pleased with the price and overall experience so far.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: always wanted one, motor purrs, trans is smooth, new tires

Cons: needs a lot of electrical work and interior carpet, head liner

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: its only been in the family

Cons: only drive it on nice days no rain no nothing but sun and dry weather

Entry Level Corvette — Nice entry Level Corvette. I went with black Imron and had the Pewter leather all power options. Had a shift kit automatic trans. Add a crate motor or a stroker but keep it if you do Can easily exceed actual value Vette parts are not cheap. Check the frame carefully for rust rot.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Affordable Today

Cons: Can easily exceed value. Performance low HP in stock form

One Word Fantastic, Best All Round Affordable Supercar — I have just purchased an L82 4 speed, having owned a 78 & 79 in the past ( both auto) this is the best of the three. They look timeless ( park next to a Ferrari, Lamborghini, maserati) & they still look at the old C3 shark the best looking car in the world period. It has everything looks to die for a big V8 & yet easy to work on & although not cheap comparitivly speaking reasonable costs to maintain. If i won the lottery I would still be driving a C3

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fantastic looks, minimal rust, a cheap supercar

Cons: Build quality not great,

Friend's Stingray — The 427 Small Block V8 is a marvel of automotive engineering. The perfect upkeep since it was purchased brand new from the dealer made the car a perfect show car. This also happens to be my favorite incarnation of the Corvette.

Pros: Perfect upkeep, amazing power, incredible styling

Cons: Absolutely nothing

The Bad Ass — Performance- has a olsmobile 350 that flies. Build Quality- it needed a few repairs, but its finished now. Appearance- its a t-top convertable, paint is yellow. Cost of ownership- gas=9mpg, about 2 grand fun factor- its an old drag car that still will pop a wheelie everytime i hit on it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: everything

Cons: gas mileage

1975 Stingray Corvette V8 350 — Its an amazing ride I wouldnt do anything differently to this car. The car is all original and it drives like a dream. I only take it out on the weekends and when the weather is really really nice outside.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everyhting

Cons: Nothing

Fun Factor — Performance - Handles well but a gutless wonder. Build Quality - Start digging into the fiberglass work and you have to ask: Was GM outsourcing to China in 1975? Appearance - Dead Sexy... Cost of Ownership - Right!!! We'll talk later :-) Fun Factor - permanent grease under the finger nails and bloody knuckles makes for a great weekend. Baby getting a 572 with side pipes and my 6 year old boy is right there helping me (he keeps all the important bolts), can't ask for any more than that.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: A real kick to drive and serious head turner.

Cons: Windsheild frame likes to rust and it's a bear to repair or replace.

I Love It — 350 small block fully rebuilt, drives a great car :) turns heads all the time, it sounds fantastic and goes like a cut snake. its still in its 1975 specs, old tape player, elderbrock 4 barel, no air con, and power steering is a bit slack lol

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: because i love the sountrack of a v8

Cons: cops cant help but look......
