Great Classic Car — This was a great restoration project. Everything replaced or restored. The only think not working is the air conditioning and that's because after 3 years of restoring, when i finally got to drive it, I stopped working on it. I didn't need the air conditioning because I never drive it with the top up or the hard top on. Runs great and drives great. While I haven't been on any long rode trips I would not have any feat on taking this car cross country.

Pros: Looks, fun to drive, last of the corvettes that had chrome bumpers front and back and a real head turner.

Cons: air conditioning doesn't work.

The Impressions Of This Car Is On The Face Of Men And Women At Stop Lights!! — This car has a 350ci. 375 hp. Vortec 4 speed with 4.11 gears with OBX headers with side pipes. I paid $800.00 for this car as you see it W/O side pipes it is an LT1 with factory A/C YES one of 240 Built with factory A/C. I have done repairs as it sat for 3 years added new carpet and some say it should be repainted as sun damaged the top part of car. I say it gives it that true Barn Find Rustic Look besides paint doesn't make it fast, BUT !! The 383 460 hp. Stroker with a T56 6 speed will !!!!! This car is a BLAST to Drive !!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Chicks Love it !! After paying $800.00 for a 1972 LT-1 with a new motor 4 speed and 1 of 240
made with factory A/C how is there any thing but PROS !!

Cons: The only Con is the 4.11 gears killing gas mileage!! Soon to be fixed with a T56 6 speed Trans.

Great First Corvette — Good overall car for your first Corvette as they are the lowest cost units to rebuild or repair. The late 60's to early 70's body style had chrome front bumpers front and rear which were known to take a "hit" in just garage parking never mind anything else, so to have an original mounted set with no rust and undamaged was rare.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Real nice first Corvette

Cons: Ride and seats were a bit rough on the back.

Old School — This is great week-end fun car, not a good car for long trips. I get a lot of thumbs up with this one because of the old school look and the sound and power of the fastburn 385 crate motor.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun to drive -- But you really have to drive the old ones to know what I mean!

Cons: Cost of keeping it going......

My First Corvette — I bought this car when I turned 25 and my insurance rates dropped. Planned to keep it a couple of years. 41 years later, I STILL HAVE IT, and I've bought 12 more since - plus the 2014 C-7 I have on order.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Stunning looks.  Last of the chrome bumper cars.  Turns heads everywhere it goes.

Cons: Doesn't get great gas mileage.  12 mpg, but you sure get attention getting there.

Best Summer Enjoyment Ever Made By Gm — 350/370 hp, TH400, ragtop, tell me whats not to like? The looks I get when I am cruising. Man, this car rocks! I know the tech aspect isnt what a new Vette is, but I do most all work myself. can you say that about your 2002?

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fun, fun, fun

Cons: gas mileage
