'65 Corvette — Nassau blue with a blue leather interior and a white rag top. 350HP numbers matching 327 small block with a Muncie 4 speed. Mild fender flares added to the car in 1966 to accommodate wider wheels and tires. Polished American Racing Torque Thrust rims (15x8 in front, 15x10 out back). Fun to drive or just polish in the driveway.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Classic Corvette looks with a little bit of "hot rod" thrown in for good measure

Cons: Parts are expensive if and when you need them

Loved The Car At The Time And, Looking Back, Wonder What I Was Thinking To Have Owned This Car — Good looking car in the natural color trend of the late 70's. At 195 horsepower, it was fast for the time but a dog of a car. The air conditioner compressor sounded like a bucket of bolts at idle or on deceleration. The heat of the transmission made it intolerable to remove the roof panels in nice weather. I sold this car when gas went to $1.25 and it was getting 16 mpg at best.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Stylish for the time. Better as a highway cruiser than a good handling car.

Cons: Another disappointing attempt by GM to call this generation of Corvette a quality car.

Awsome — I love everything about it, gas milage better then expected, maintenance cost very low acceleration takes off like a rocket, feels real safe when driving fits and feels like a glove, handles corners like a Indy car. It's a blast to drive especially with top off everyone waves when I stop for gas everone comes over to me and tells me how hot it is and keeps wanting to talk to me. quiet with hard top on, see easy no blind spots. It's a one of a kind special changes would sell more in the hot rod class than original. The coolest car you've ever seen

Pros: beautiful ,drives like a Ferrari, powerful, excellent handling, turns everyones heads when you drive by, awsome bright color comfrtable to drive, not really any repair costs

Cons: non except vin #'s don/t match

Car I Wished I Had Kept — It was a great sports car in its time, has great body line, performance for the 327 was fair, poor braking system, Handling was fair nothing to write home about. Everyone wanted a ride in it. I purchased the Vette in 1970 with 59k miles on it paid $1200.00 for it. Did a lot of work Mechanical, body was in excellent condition. Sorry to this day for selling it

Pros: Great body lines, good looking car

Cons: Braking system
