CarGurus Experiences Explosive Growth As Top Online Auto Community

Over 300% Annual Traffic Growth and 250,000 Pieces of User-Submitted Content Since Launch 2 Years Ago.

Cambridge, MA – May 6, 2008 -- CarGurus (www.cargurus.com), a leading online automotive community, announced today record growth as it marks its second anniversary. Since the initial beta launch of CarGurus.com in March 2006, the CarGurus network (including www.cargurus.com and its Facebook application Car IQ) has seen 325% annual traffic growth, with more than 700,000 unique monthly visitors in March 2008, making CarGurus.com one of the top 70 automotive web sites in the world.  

CarGurus’ active community of auto fans continues each week to contribute new content (user reviews, photos, videos, questions and answers, etc.).  With over 250,000 pieces of user-submitted content, CarGurus has become a great resource for auto consumers to get firsthand information from other automobile owners.  

Continuing its focus on online automotive communities, CarGurus recently launched an application on Facebook - Car IQ. In its first three months, Car IQ has already grown to include more than 500,000 subscribers and is now one of the most popular automotive applications on Facebook.
