I attempted to buy a "special edition" 2014 Corvette from Midway
Chevrolet - CASH. They were insulting of my intelligence,
character and my integrity. They would not allow me to drive the
vehicle before purchasing, or making legal contract to purchase
the car first. They questioned my ability to buy, wanted to run
credit-check before they would even allow me to test-drive the car,
and were downright rude and insulting to both me and my wife. As
a result, I left their dealership and went to Mercedes-Benz and
bought a 2014 SL550 Roadster CASH! I will NEVER so much as
buy a nut or bolt from Midway Chevrolet - and suggest others go

The salesmen are good and courteous. The finance guy Mike was
la,y and cocky. Couldn't get financing for 2 weeks I got myself
approved in 2 hours with 3 banks and handed a blank check for the
new car. Lazy...

A sales lady called and said they had a couple of vehicles that I would be interested in. I was looking for a specific SUV, and I told her I did not want to drive there if they did not have exactly what I was looking for, and I gave her the spicifics again on the phone. She said they had a couple of them, and when I got there they did not have any. Bait and switch scam. They asked if there was something else they could show me. I left but should have demanded compensation for my time and gas.

"but we do have this newer (more expensive) model available"... i have taken my business elsewhere, Kory Chaplin @ MIDWAY CHEVROLET you are the typical used car salesman

I called the dealership 30 minutes before I arrived. When I arrived, I was told the vehicle I was interested in, had just been sold. Interesting enough, there was another almost identical car available for about $3,000 more. I felt a definite Bait and Switch deal.
While I was leaving the showroom, I slipped on some wet flooring and went down hard on both knees. A salesman was kind enough to help me up, however, once I was up, there was no one around to inquire as to whether I was OK or not. I would most certainly NOT recommend this dealership to anyone.
