Dealer Rating: (2 reviews) "Let me start with the bottom line, stay away from Beverly Farms Motors, get your own copy of Carfax reports, ask for copies of all documents a dealer shows you, and get the vehicle number, before you pay them any money. When you search the web use the vehicle number you'll be surprised to see what you find beyond Carfax. Beverly Farms Motors are sharp operators skating as close to the edge as possible without going over. Don't let yourself be fooled by the casual/friendly style. Every action and every word is carefully calculated to make you feel that they are in the business not for the money but for the love of cars. Everything they do is aimed at making you believe that they are forthright and open, fully disclosing all information about the cars they sell while instead they disclose partial and misleading information. For example, they will show you a printed Carfax report for the car you are interested in. If you don't have any experience with Carfax reports (like me), you would not notice that the Carfax report Beverly Farms Motors show you is the free version of the report that does not fully report a car's history. In my case, the free Carfax report did not show that the car I bought from Beverly Farms at one point had been declared as salvage because of a serious accident. Inexperienced with Carfax, I believed that they were being forthright and truthful especially after they told me that the price of the car was lower than expected because the car had had a minor accident. I wish I had known. Because they are careful to not cross the line and cover all the legal bases, once you discover the truth, you have no recourse. Obviously, you can forget about them ever returning any calls or responding to any messages after the car is sold. I guess that openness and friendliness stops once they get their money."
