2008 Chevrolet Cobalt Reviews

This car is the greatest thing ever to happen to me. I purchased this car after my old car kinda quit on me. I found this car on a Sunday browsing dealerships. It was a brand new 08 LT1 with cruise control and a few other options such as the rear spoiler. Too bad it didn't come with remote start or a sun roof. I debated between it and a dark red one at Johnny Londoff Chevy that had a body kit and exhaust on it. Even though the one with the body kit looked a bit cooler, I chose the silver LT. After my parents traded in their work van, the LT cost a little over 12 grand. I'm paying almost $208 a month for it. I got 0% financing for 60 months. I brought the car home on June 18, 2008. I absoultely love this car. Its very fun to drive and very nimble. For the 2.2, its a fast accerator and good at turns as well. Turning radius is awesome - I can turn it around on my driveway, which is a 3 car driveway. I plan on having a lot done to it, such as exhaust and intake.. and a LOT more. The gas milage too is awesome.. between 25 and 35. I would reccomend a Cobalt to anyone looking for a small car.

I bought it used with 29,110 miles in May 2009 and
currently have 33,300 miles on it. After having it
for about a month the rotors rusted and the brakes
built up with junk so I had to have 2 rotors replaced
and a brake pad replaced. At 32,500 when getting
an oil change the air filter needed to be replaced
and ever since the car performance has only gotten
better. Whatever you do don't get the LS model, get
the LT like I have because LS doesn't have cruise,
power locks, car alarm, and plus the spoiler helps a
lot when its windy out.

Not the best of cars, there are many better than it in its class.  For its size, it guzzles gas.  The particular car had 8k of mileage on it and it already had squeaky suspension.  Luckily, it was just a rental.

a super inexpensive car to own and mod
blast to drive, corners are fast and fun to drive any where any time.

I love how smooth the ride is, but the horse power is really lacking. The gas milage is awesome. It cost 10,000 to buy(got it slightly used). The interior is just big enough for me. Its bigger than a Toyotas.
