| “#113 Of 500 Asc Mclaren Limited Edition” Bought this car in April 1987 for $18K. It had the stock Ford 5.0L V8, 225 HP, with 5-spd overdrive. Two-tone cloth interior, 140 mph speedometer, Alpine 7272 Stereo w/Kenwood speakers, Cobra Radar-Detector (sensor mounted in grill), BF Goodrich 225/50VR15 Tires, and MSW Type II Rims, dual exhaust. Lockable T-tops. It was awesome on the autobahn in Germany - funnest speeds were between 90 and 135 mph! Drove from Bremerhaven pick up point to Ansbach in 4 hrs 15 min., averaged 131 mph, and 22 mpg (with catalytic converters removed).
