CarGurus' 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Review

The GMC Sierra 1500 half-ton pickup truck got a serious makeover for 2007.  Interior changes include  more storage compartments, more room in the rear, and new materials that reduce noise.  Trim-specific upgrades feature the SLE1's new front bench seat, the SLT's Bose speaker system, and new 6 speed automatic transmission in the Denali.  You'll have your choice of over 40 different trims, all of which received stronger body frames.
You can divide all the trims into 4 basic groups: Work Truck, SLE, SLT, and the Denali.  You'll also get to choose from regular, extended, and crew cab sizes, which offer 3 different box lengths: 5 ft. 8 in., 6 ft. 6 in., and 8 ft.  The Sierra 1500 features 4 different engines that can tow close to 10,500 lbs.: a 4.3 L, 195 hp V6 and 4.8 L 295 hp, 5.3 L 315 hp, and 6.2 L 403 hp V8's.  Expect to get 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway on average.
Overall, drivers come away with positive impressions of the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500.  Reviewers especially like the comfortable interior, refined exterior design, and solid performance.  The 40+ trims ensure that you'll find the truck that fits your specifications.  When it comes to upholding freedom of choice, the Sierra 1500 rules with iron fist.
