The 1990 Pontiac Bonneville full-size sedan was one of the biggest sedans on the market, seating six adults comfortably. It came as the base LE, SE, or sportier SSE, though each had the same 3.8-liter, 165-hp V6 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. New in the 1990 Bonneville is some front-end restyling, with a new grille on the SSE and new taillights on the LE and SE. The SSE was the high-end 1990 Bonneville, with a load of luxury standard features. These included, power front seats, keyless entry, headlight cleaners, heated mirrors, Rallye-style instrument panel, cruise control, and a driver's information center that alerted you to problems. 4-wheel ABS brakes were also included. The LE base model offered few standard features, but most of what the SSE had could be bought as options.
