Tires fluctuate too much

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2018 (new) Nissan Rogue hybrid. I
live in Colorado where we can get all four
seasons of the weather in one day and I have
found myself needed to add air to my tires
frequently. They will fluctuate a lot and they
will go back up but never to what I originally
have them at. It’s very frustrating because the
whole reason I wanted a new car was to have
less personal maintenance. I feel like this is
not normal and have never had to deal with
this before. More days than not, I have a
warning light from my car telling me low air in
my tires. Never a particular one and I
eventually will always need to put air back it to
get it to the original psi. Is this a wheel issue
for this car or am I just cursed with tire
issues?

You can't beat physics, temperature changes cause air pressure changes. Air them up to the factory recommendations or if you prefer to the maximum allowed on the tire sidewall. Have a tire shop dunk the tires in a tank to look for leaks.

I always air them up to the factory settings, a little higher since I live in Colorado. Not a single other person I know that lives in Colorado has to air their tires up on a bi-monthly basis. I am looking to trade in the car because this is not something I want to do for the next 10 years and no one else seems to have to either. In fact, I was at the dealership on monday, and dropped my car off today and all tires are already under 8 psi from where they were on monday. They will go back up in the afternoon a little but never the full amount to what I aired them up on monday.
