1998 Honda Civic EX standard is leaking fuel from under the left side of the engine just under the spark wires. Why would it leak from there?

Asked by Ben Oct 11, 2013 at 10:01 PM about the 1998 Honda Civic Coupe EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It leaks a large amount of fuel right
when the key is turned to the last
position just before turning it over.
It's a rather large leak and I don't
understand how it's leaking from the
left side under the spark plugs as I
thought the fuel compartments for
the engine were in the back of the
engine. What could be the problem?
