When did you buy the car? How many days later did you experience engine problems? Did you check the oil before driving? Was it full? Is it full now? How far did you drive after the pressure went to zero? Did you buy from a dealer or individual? Was a warranty of any kind offered or implied? Was any engine condition implied?

Agree with tennisshoes, some one sold you a lemon, and from the type of vehicle, they new it ,denali,s are good, but this one was waiting for some one to take.

Lemon law only apply for new cars, if you got your car form a dealer, you may have some kind of warranty, 95% of the used car warranty only covers internal lubricated parts, and your problem sounds like is one of those. hope this helps

Bought it of an individual. Drove it didn't c no leaks. When I was headed home on the eway oil guage dropped to zero n it started knocking. And then it cut off went back gave it a jump it was still knocking

before you redo the engine, just make sure the engine is not good, V8 chevy engines are really good, and if you didn't drive the car for too long with out oil or low oil pressure chances are that the engine still in good shape, and may just need minimal repairs.
