Starting problems

Asked by GuruY27N5 Mar 28, 2018 at 06:36 AM about the 2007 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 6.5ft Bed 4WD

I have a 07 f150 5.4 lariet that is hard to start but when It
starts it runs like it’s new. Thought it was th fuel filter  still
does it. Changed the fuel pump ( twice) still does it. Any
help would be helpful

does this happen every time or just at certain times ie. cold start , warm start , after fueling ? what do the plugs look like ? instead of a second fuel pump you could have gotten a fuel pressure tester

Right, in cases like yours I would use a fuel pressure tester first.

Have the injectors checked or search the net on how to check. One or two bad injectors could make for a hard start.
