Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car will start rite up sometimes,  then a couple
of hours later it want crank. The lights and
everything comes on but when I turn it over it just
clicks. What is causing it to do that????

Bad battery have it tested and while at it have the alternator tested too and look for corroded frayed or bad battery terminals & terminal wires, Bad/loose electrical connections to battery or starter and check engine block to frame and battery terminal to frame grounds.
