2005 dodge 1500

sounds like the engine has a bad air/fuel mixture. while its running are there any other warning lights on? and when the check gauge light came on did you look to see which gauge was not inside its normal parameters? check your air induction system to see if there may be any debris in the air filter housing or tubes leading to the throttle body.

The check engine light is also on, forgot to mention that

It read as a IAT sensor, bought new sensor no idea where it's located

Update Changed that sensor and no luck, was told it was the GPS? I dunno what that it but something about the throttle body?

It feels like it's in a limp mode almost

maybe they meant TPS throttle position sensor.. you said check engine light is on is it still on even after you changed the IAT sensor? if so what codes is it pulling?
