not getting fuel

1991 lexus 400ls car runs fine for awhile turn it off then wont start let it sit over night then it starts

I dont have an answer, but my 1996 has done the same thing 3 times over the past few months. Drove from home to work, work to school, the stopped by grocery store after school. Tried to start it again, turned but wouldnt start up. Came back in the morning and starts right up Can anyone help with this?
